For small businesses
Predictable IT that just works, so you can stop being the IT department
You didn't go into business to run its technology. We carry the security, devices, accounts, and backups for one flat monthly fee with no surprises, and problems get handled before they reach your desk.
No commitment, just a conversation about where you are.
What we see
Four risks hiding in most small businesses
The good news is that none of them take an enterprise budget to fix.
0
dedicated IT staff in most businesses under fifty people
Technology is everyone's side job
Accounts in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, backups, security settings, and renewals all land on whoever sits closest to the problem, squeezed in around a full-time job. The work that prevents outages is exactly the work that keeps sliding to next week.
?
what this month's IT problems will cost you under break-fix
Every problem arrives with an invoice
Break-fix support means you pay when things are already broken, in money and in downtime, and no one is paid to prevent the next one. The costs are real but never predictable, so technology stays a line item you can't budget.
1
person usually holds every password and setting
The know-how lives in one head
The work may be spread around, but the passwords, settings, and vendor history usually live with one person. When that person moves on or takes a vacation, the business is locked out of what only they knew.
The bottom line
Your insurance renewal is a security audit
Before they quote, cyber insurers now ask whether multi-step login is on, devices are protected, backups are tested, and systems stay current. The answers decide your premium, and sometimes whether you can get coverage at all.
How we help
How we answer these risks
You don't need a bigger team or a complicated setup to close these gaps. We take care of each one and make sure it stays that way.
The routine work stops sliding
Managed device protection, email security, and monitored backups run quietly in the background, with updates and checks on our schedule instead of your spare time. Problems get prevented instead of fought after they land.
One flat fee, no surprise invoices
One monthly fee covers the systems we manage, and it doesn't change month to month. Your agreement spells out what's covered, what isn't, and a written response-time commitment before you sign.
Documentation that stays yours
How your systems fit together, which vendor to call, and how to get into everything gets written down as we go and kept in your hands. No single person, including us, becomes a point of failure.
Ready when the insurer asks
The Security Baseline turns on multi-step login wherever your software supports it, reviews the security settings across your accounts, and sets them the way they should be. Where a setting needs a higher tier or an add-on, we tell you before anything changes. When the renewal questionnaire arrives, you answer from documentation, not memory.
No pressure, no sales pitch. Just honest answers.
How we work
One service, two ways to run it
Same scope. Same commitment. The only difference is who does what day to day.
Fully managed
We carry the load
For organizations without an IT person, or the time to be one. We handle security, devices, accounts, and backups, troubleshoot them when something isn't right, keep it all documented, and run a quarterly review that keeps leadership in the loop on status, risks, and plans.
Co-managed
We back up whoever keeps things running
For organizations where a staff member or volunteer already keeps things running. They keep the work they know and want. We carry security, devices, accounts, and backups behind them, with a written plan for who handles what, so nothing depends on one person.
Not sure which fits? That's what the first conversation is for.
Compliance
When the rules come with the work
If your work answers to HIPAA, PCI, or client security clauses, the rules come with proof attached. We're not auditors or lawyers, and we don't pretend to be. We keep the everyday safeguards running and written down, help you work through the checklist, and help you answer when an assessment request lands.
HIPAA
Patient records come with rules
If your practice touches patient information, HIPAA expects real safeguards around every system that holds it, and proof that they're in place.
PCI
Taking cards comes with fine print
PCI applies to far more businesses than owners realize, whatever your size, and the requirements got stricter in 2025. Your processor can ask for evidence at any time.
Contracts
Clients push security downhill
Bigger clients now write security requirements into their contracts. The questionnaire that used to go to large vendors lands on small firms too, and the deal doesn't move until it's answered.
Where we start
First, the Security Baseline
One fixed-scope, fixed-price project that gets your systems to a known, protected starting point. Here's what happens, in order.
Turn on multi-step login
A second check at sign-in, wherever your software supports it. The single biggest upgrade to how your accounts are protected.
Get your security settings right
The settings across your accounts, reviewed and set the way they should be.
Put passwords and accounts in order
Every account we find together, cleaned up, every password in a dedicated vault your team has full access to.
Document everything
Every change written down as we go, from settings and accounts to vendor contacts. Yours to keep, whether or not you continue.
Exit here if you want
Safer than you were, owning everything we touched. But most organizations don't stop, because there's one step left.
Keep it going
We handle security, devices, accounts, and backups, and troubleshoot them when something isn't right. All of it runs on tooling we deploy and operate ourselves. Everything documented, with a quarterly review that keeps leadership in the loop. The Baseline applies toward your first three months.
Most organizations keep going.
FAQ
Questions, answered simply
How do we get started?
Every engagement starts with our Security Baseline, a one-time project with a fixed scope and price, set up front with no hourly surprises. Anything we find beyond that scope, we flag and walk you through before it costs you anything.
Is a managed service overkill for an organization our size?
We deliver one complete, standardized service rather than a menu of tiers, because a menu asks you to guess what you can live without. That said, we're honest about fit. The service is built for organizations of roughly ten people and up. If you're not there yet, or a managed service isn't the right answer for you, we'll say so in the first conversation and point you in a useful direction.
Can we just call you when something breaks?
We don't offer one-time break-fix support, and that's on purpose. Calling in someone new after a failure means work stops while they learn your setup from scratch. The systems we manage stay current and documented, so when one of them needs attention, we already know how it fits together.
How do you prove results and ROI?
We start by setting clear goals with you, such as saving time, cutting errors, or closing security gaps. Then we track simple, tangible metrics and share the before and after, so the value is always clear.
What happens if you're unavailable?
The same protection we build against your key person moving on covers us too. Your passwords live in a dedicated vault you have full access to, and settings, vendor contacts, and runbooks are written down as we go, not carried in our heads. If we're ever unreachable, your team can get to everything it needs, and any qualified provider could pick up the documentation and keep things running without starting over.
What if we ever want to part ways?
Then everything is already in your hands. Your passwords live in a dedicated vault you have full access to, and we document settings, vendor contacts, and runbooks as we go, so none of it lives only with us. If we part ways, you take every password, setting, and runbook with you, a complete, current picture of your systems, not a mystery. We'd rather earn your renewal than lock you in.
